Tai Silk Tubeskirt
With a wine red silk warp and a green silk weft, this old tubeskirt has a rich, dark shimmer of color that enlivens the overall earthy tones. The design is quite handsome with a field of diamond-shaped flowers bordered by fine texture, indicating a skillful ‘mut mee’ weaver. From mid-20th century, condition is very good, with the exception of one centimeter-sized hole.
