Miao Man’s Collar
From Nankai, in Guizhou Province, this collar employs a lovely color combination of dark red, turquoise, orange and white in the fine, silk embroidery. It is framed by nicely contrasting bands in the traditional combination of red and yellow cotton. The lining of the standup collar appears to be indigo hempcloth; the rest of the embroidery is on fine indigo cotton. This is an older piece and is in very good condition, except for one small hole.
