Miao Baby Carrier Panel
This unusual old Miao baby carrier panel is covered in dense, finely chain-stitched flowers which have faded beautifully with age, and are framed by bountiful appliqued borders. From the Flowered Hmong subgroup in Guizhou Province of southern China, it is from the mid-20th century. Condition is very good, tho faded. This displays very subtly and would be attractive mounted on linen.
