Hmong/Miao Apron Panel

Probably from the Hmong/Miao in Yunnan Province, China, this festival apron is boldly colored and patterned. Executed in cross-stitch and satin stitch, the design is rather formal and sophisticated, but executed in clear, contrasting colors. Further embellishment includes rickrack, ribbon and beads. Condition is excellent.
