Hmong/Miao Apron Panel

Probably from the Hmong/Miao in Yunnan Province, China, this festival apron is fearless in color and elaborate in design. Complimentary colors of red and green are used to eye-dazzling effect and are accented with gold foil and black. Executed in cross-stitch and satin stitch, it also includes rickrack and beads. Condition is excellent.
