Hmong/Miao Apron Panel
Probably from the Hmong/Miao in Yunnan Province, China, this elaborately decorated festival apron shows a flower vase flanked by flamboyant birds and flowers in each corner, with more flowers bordering the central panel. Done in satin stitch with acrylic yarn, it also includes rickrack and purchased ribbon and beads. Condition is very good with only a few strands of beads missing.
