Antique Moulded Clay Pipe
Old moulded clay tobacco pipes like this have been used for centuries in northern Thailand and Burma by the Karen, Shan and Lawa people, and are thought to be hundreds of years old. They are often found buried in the dirt when preparing fields for planting. The designs on this one are typical, with almost-Classical motifs. This one is in good condition without any breakage and appears to have not been used. It would be an unusual addition to a pipe collection.
