Silk Brush

Very fine carving and vestiges of red lacquer make this old piece special. Two nagas form the outline of the top and bird and floral motifs fill in the center on one side, while the other has curving, intertwined vines and leaves. Bands of ‘tumpul-like’ designs border the lower part. Some bristles are missing, but it does not detract. A custom, metal stand is included. We cannot find fine examples like this anymore.
