Gathering Basket from Borneo

This basket has an elegant shape which is complemented by the openness of the weaving and the decoratively carved wood struts to which nicely woven carrying straps are attached. (One wood piece has a broken top.) This is a traditional design from Borneo. Nicely sized, this could be used in many ways. (Please see its mate at AC151)
