Old Indonesian Bronze Ring
Both unusual and archetypal in design, this old bronze ring is a mystery to us. We think it is quite old but have no way to confirm that since we’ve not found anything like it. Acquired in Indonesia, it may have come from one of the eastern islands.
The three spirals span three fingers and become a prominent hand ornament for any gender. Though rustic in craft, and encrusted in appearance, it is appealing in the simplicity of its design. It could be cleaned, but we didn’t want to disturb the patina.
